Privacy

Your community account.

Registration stores your username, display name, account creation date, and protected hashes of your password and recovery code. Your password and recovery code are never part of your public profile. No email address is required.

Save your recovery code privately. Password recovery uses that code and replaces it after a successful reset. Staff cannot retrieve the original password or code for you.

What other members can see.

Usernames, display names, profile biographies, membership dates, staff ranks, forum posts, replies, and faction pages are public. Do not put private information into a post or profile. Recruitment application messages are visible to the applicant, the faction’s manager, and authorized staff. Reports are visible to authorized staff.

You can edit your profile and your own unlocked posts. Account removal is available in account settings. Moderation records may remain to help staff maintain the community; an owner must resolve their responsibilities before removing their account.

Essential cookies and security.

Signing in sets an essential session cookie for up to seven days. It keeps your account signed in and is inaccessible to ordinary page scripts. Signing out revokes that session; changing or recovering your password revokes all sessions.

The service uses short-lived request counters with hashed connection identifiers to limit spam and repeated login attempts. The hosting provider also processes connection and access information needed to serve the site. No advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies have been added.

Downloads and other services.

Website community accounts are separate from game accounts and local saves. Fonts and site artwork are served with the website. Opening external links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.

“Copy diagnostic information” on the support page prepares browser details on your device. It does not upload them. You choose whether to copy and share them. Never include passwords or recovery codes in a support post.
